Lupe’s reaction to finding out his newly produced music has not been well received due to the intense use of experimental production and lack of production from former partner Soundtrakk:  “what the hell? My music sucks now cuz my big homie Soundtrakk aint helping out?Damn. Somebody call the big homie Sound. Yoooooo Gemini move your fat ass, get the homie Soundtrakk on the phone. We gotta find this nigga! Yo Bishop G man, do something mutherfucker! God i dont pay you to look sexy.”
